01 / The first entry

Built around the everyday.

Entry 001 is a black heavyweight hoodie in development. We are working through fabric, fit and construction before committing the design to a physical sample.

Heavyweight cotton
Target: 500 GSM. Final fabric and composition to be confirmed through sampling.
Fit direction
Room to move
Proportion, drape and everyday comfort. The fit will be refined on a physical sample.
Planned circulation
50 pieces
A single numbered circulation is planned. No pieces have been made or allocated.

The hoodie is not available to buy. Sample approval, final specification, price and launch date are still to be confirmed.

The work behind the entry.

A record of the decisions that shape Entry 001. Follow the process as the design develops.

Study 001 / Fabric

Weight is only the beginning.

We are considering handle, recovery and how the fabric wears. A heavyweight number alone does not tell the whole story.

Study 002 / Fit

Proportion before detail.

The body, shoulder and sleeve need to work together. Fit studies will guide the sample, then the sample will guide the final shape.

Study 003 / Construction

Make the details count.

Hood shape, rib and seams are part of the development brief. Their final specification will depend on sampling and maker feedback.

Estate Archive is an independent apparel project shaped by city life. We value considered design, useful detail and pieces that earn their place in the everyday.

The archive begins with one entry. We will share its development openly, from design direction to the first approved sample.

Is Entry 001 available to buy?

Not yet. Entry 001 is in development and there is no approved physical sample. We are building the garment before opening sales.

What does a circulation of 50 mean?

We plan to make 50 individually numbered pieces for Entry 001. This is a planned circulation, not a stock count. No pieces have been produced or allocated.

Does joining the list reserve a hoodie?

Joining the list is an expression of interest. You will receive development updates and confirmed launch news. It does not reserve a hoodie or guarantee access to a piece.

When will the hoodie launch?

There is no confirmed launch date. We will share release details after sampling, the final specification and production planning are complete.
